Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Highland Labs collects when you use our website and services, and how we use and protect it.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and workspace membership

Billing details: company name, billing email and address, and the documents you upload for billing

Automation requests: the descriptions and files you share with us about your processes

Connections: the access credentials you authorise for your automations, encrypted before they are stored

Run records: logs, results and deliverables produced by your automations

WhatsApp, Telegram and the drop box

You choose how documents reach us. Each way works differently:

WhatsApp: messages are encrypted between your phone and Meta's WhatsApp business service, which passes them to us. Meta acts as our service provider and keeps a message at most 30 days to deliver it.

Telegram: messages are encrypted between your phone and Telegram's servers. Chats with a bot are not end-to-end encrypted, and Telegram keeps them on its servers.

The drop box in Autom8Way (Books, Drop box): files go straight to our server over an encrypted connection, with no messaging service in between.

Only a chat linked to your workspace with a one-time code can send documents into it; messages from other numbers are ignored and nothing from them is stored. Files are kept by workspace, seen only by the people you invite, and every action is logged.

Payments

Card payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only a reference the provider gives us.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only service providers we need to run the service: our cloud hosting provider (Oracle Cloud), our email provider (Microsoft 365), our payment provider, Cal.com when you book a call with us, and Meta (WhatsApp) or Telegram when you send us documents through them. We share only what each of them needs.

Cookies

Our website uses two cookies: one keeps you signed in, and one remembers your language. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

How we protect it

Connections to our site are encrypted. Credentials for your systems are encrypted before storage, access to them is limited to running your approved automations, and that access is recorded.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you are a client, and delete it within 90 days after the service ends, except records we must keep by law (such as invoices).

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing hello@autom8way.com.
